Carrie Oberthaler is the Area General Manager - Kalamazoo for Odyssey Hotels.  Carrie comes to Odyssey Hotels with over 25 years in the hospitality industry. She has gained knowledge and experience by working in almost every facet of a hotel.   Carrie started her career with Marriott in sales and has held various positions throughout her carrier such as Front office Manager, Director of Sales, Assistant General Manager, General Manager, and Regional Director of Sales.  Carrie is an inspirational leader and has taken an active role in educating others in the industry through the Hospitality program at the local community college along with mentor programs through Davenport University. Over 80% of the students that have gone through this mentorship program have been successfully placed in the industry upon completion of the course.
