Executive Housekeeper
Position Description
-
Supervises all housekeeping employees, including in-house laundry and public area attendants.

Has the authority to hire or discharge.

Plans and assigns work assignments.
-
Provide training for new employees.
-
Audit and inspect housekeeping work assignments and request supplies.
-
Manages departmental budget and expenses.
-
Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays; will also work occasional MOD shifts on weekends.

Evaluates employees in order to promote when openings arise.

Maintains accurate time management of all employees within the department

Approves all supply requisitions such as brand changes.

Maintains a lost-and-found department and is responsible for all lost-and-found items; determines the rightful owner and sends accordingly.

Ultimately responsible for cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of the entire hotel

Prepares Annual Housekeeping Budget.

Maintain stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linens, and uniforms.

Develop and implement Housekeeping systems and procedures.

Attending to and resolving guest complaints.

Coordinating with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance of rooms and public area.

Immediately attending to guest requests,
Position Requirements/Job Results:

Strong leadership abilities and organizational skills.

Ability to drive change and look for operational efficiencies.

Minimum 5 years of housekeeping experience including at least 2-3 years in Executive Housekeeper role.

Strong operational and technical knowledge of cleaning standards and laundry operations
-
Renovation experience beneficial.
