Mike Guth is the Director of Construction for Odyssey Hotels.  Mike adds over 28 years of experience with design, construction project and facility management to the Odyssey team.  Mike earned his bachelor of science degree in Architectural Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering.  Mike gain valuable experience in construction for 16 years after college working for design/build contractors.  He furthered his experience of consulting and design for the next 12 years working on mission critical facilities, schools, and medical facilities.  A large majority of Mikes clients were facility managers and end users, gaining him unique experience with the end result of projects, making sure project details are not only followed during construction but meet the end users expectations.  Mike has experience with many types of facilities including office, medical, financial, sports, data centers, k12 schools, industrial/manufacturing, clean rooms, and hotels.

Mike’s leadership style has always been to lead by example and is empathetic to other's needs.

Mikes strengths are his ability to problem solve and has always been able to work through issues he’s faced.  His approach is to simply determine the facts and work through those details to develop the best solution.

During his free time, Mike likes to keep active by running, cycling and kiteboarding.  He also enjoys skiing, fishing and baking with his daughter.
