Residence Inn by Marriott proposed near I-43 in Glendale

Odyssey Hotels is seeking approval for a four-story, 83-room Residence Inn by Marriott on North Port Washington Road in Glendale.

The hotel would be northwest of Port Washington Road and Green Tree Road, east of Interstate 43. Developer Rachit Dhingra, of Odyssey Hotels, owns the vacant project site and the neighboring PNC Bank building and the Radisson Hotel Milwaukee North Shore.

The extended-stay Residence Inn would have 25 to 30 workers, and could open in late 2016 or early 2017, according to a city of Glendale report on the project. Amenities for the hotel include a sport court and outdoor courtyard with a grill and fire pit. Glendale’s Plan Commission will review the project on Tuesday.
